The optical design enables a maximum beam diameter at all lens surfaces inside the beam expander for each magnification from 0.9x up to 4.0x. The telescope has a ghost free design which protects the lenses against damages. Furthermore special low absorption coatings and fused silica as a lens material enable the usage with high power ultra short pulsed lasers.
